weComm to power miniV mobile TV service in China

weComm will be providing the rich media mobile client technology used to deliver interactive Mobile multimedia audio visual broadcasting, VOD and lottery services for miniV.tv in China

LONDON — miniV.tv, the first commercially available interactive mobile video service has been set up in China to deliver Linear TV streams, Lottery and VOD services through mobile handsets.

weComm, a leader in interactive mobile solutions has been selected by miniV.tv to be the technology partner to provide the applications software platform that powers a broad range of compelling end user services starting with live TV, lottery betting and video streams of news, sports, finance, and entertainment content.

The service, which is built on weComm’s wave On-Demand Mobile Application Platform™, is due to launch in October and is expected to quickly grow to reach one million subscribers.

miniV.tv will utilize weComm’s solution to deliver initially VOD, Live TV streams, and Lottery services, and will quickly extend to deliver a variety of additional interactive applications.
