Armenia to move to digital TV broadcasting by 2015
Friday, November 13th, 2009Armenia’s Economy Minister, Nerses Yeritsyan, has said at a press briefing that the country will completely switch to digital broadcasting by 2015. According to him, the Armenian government officially endorsed the scheme on Thursday.
The government is planning a public debate on the subject from the end of 2009 until the summer of 2010 when it will implement changes to existing legislation and develop a technical plan and licensing conditions.
