Motorola’s unparalleled knowledge of IPTV delivery gives us the confidence that we’ll have a scalable and flexible platform that will allow us to continue to evolve our product offering as our business grows. Our engineering team has worked very closely with Motorola to be aligned with the project for successful deployment to our subscribers.”

Motorola is providing Farmers Telephone with turnkey IPTV service deployment, while eliminating both the time-consuming and inconvenient tasks of researching, commissioning and managing multiple suppliers and the risk and uncertainty involved in managing the rollout itself.”

The implementation at Farmers will draw on Motorola’s extensive experience in deploying IPTV solutions from the digital headend to customer premises equipment, including Motorola’s VIP Series set-tops. This latest deployment at Farmers Telephone will additionally leverage Motorola’s already deployed MPEG-4 SD and HD encoders along with Motorola’s integrated receiver/ decoders (IRDs).
