Telekom Austria Group: aonTV Reaches 100,000-Subscriber Mark

VIENNA — The Telekom Austria Group (VSE: TKA, OTC US: TKAGY) today announced that aonTV , the IPTV service of its Fixed Net subsidiary, Telekom Austria TA AG, has reached the 100,000 subscriber mark.

Telekom Austria’s aonTV features over 70 basic and 20 premium TV channels, an integrated video-on-demand library with over 300 movies, HD TV content, free-of-charge weather forecasts and traffic reports as well as the Austrian news channel “Zeit im Bild”, which can be retrieved anytime shortly after it has been on air. Last but not least, the service also encompasses a wide selection of over 300 national and international radio stations. In addition, the aonTV MediaBox, which was first launched in September 2009 and connects the TV set with the PC and the mobile phone, offers unparalleled multimedia entertainment and rounds off aonTV’s extensive range of programs.
