SaskTel today introduced the latest enhancement to Max™ Entertainment Services. With Digital TV Recorder, SaskTel Max customers can take control of their TV viewing experience with the ability to pause, rewind and record live TV quickly and easily.

“Our Max customers are going to love Digital TV Recorder,” SaskTel President and CEO Robert Watson said. “You choose what you want to watch, when you want to watch it. It’s simply a better TV experience.”

An easy-to-use on-screen guide allows easy recording and viewing. Customers with SaskTel Max standard definition service can watch one program live while recording a program on a different channel at the same time.

Customers can record up to 100 hours of standard definition programming and up to 25 hours of high definition programming. Programs are stored on the SaskTel Max digital set-top box which contains a built-in hard drive.

Digital TV Recorder also automatically stores whatever program you’re watching for up to the previous 60 minutes, allowing you to pause, rewind or fast forward the program while it’s airing.

Digital TV Recorder is available to SaskTel Max customers for just $9.95 per month per TV.
