DCS (AKTA) to launch digital cable in Romania
Thursday, February 11th, 2010Digital Cable Systems S.A. (DCS), operator of the AKTA TV satellite and cable TV services in Romania, plans to launch digital cable TV in March 2010, expecting to attract 10,000 customers in the first year.
The 80-channel service will initially be transmitted in DVB-C, MPEG-2, standard definition format, with the intention to upgrade to MPEG-4 and HD at a later stage.
