CANAL+ Poland to show football game LIVE in 3D
Wednesday, March 31st, 2010WARSAW — Canal+ Poland will, on May 15th this year, broadcast Poland’s first football match in 3D. The game to be shown will depend on the situation in the Ekstraklasa football league at the time.
The transmission will be made unencrypted on Eutelsat’s HOTBIRD satellite so that anyone with a suitable receiver, such as CYFRA+ subscribers with an HD set-top box and a 3D-capable television, will be able to watch it. Canal+ in cooperation with LG Electronics will also set up screenings in cities across the country.
