TechnoTrend focuses on HDTV via all receive paths at ANGA Cable 2010

GRASSAU — TechnoTrend Görler, as an internationally known manufacturer of innovative digital receivers, presents at the ANGA Cable 2010 a perfectly balanced range for receiving HDTV via all considerable receive paths. The subject HDTV therefore constitutes one of the main focal points at this year’s exhibition performance.

For cable net providers TechnoTrend Görler presents for the first time three brand new HD-cable receivers. The innovation makes it possible to receive HDTV in the cable net of Unitymedia, Kabel Deutschland and respectively Conax-encrypted cable nets, like for example KabelKiosk from Eutelsat. Moreover the three digital receivers convince through the integrated HDMI-CEC control, which facilitates control with the help of the existing TV remote control and an outstanding TechnoTrend image quality.

One of the highlights of this year’s product presentation is the further development of the HD receive solution via IP. An example therefore is the new TechnoTrend hybrid solution. This addresses with the technologies from Verimatrix and BeeSmart pure IP users, however it is for the first time through Conax as an integrated CA system also interesting for hybrid application areas. “With the enlargement of our IP receiving product range we can at an early stage develop solutions, which we see in the market in the future besides the known technologies Nagravision and Quative and therefore we can respond to international customer requests in a far better way”, declares Thomas Gerlach CEO of TechnoTrend Görler.

New satellite receivers for receiving HD+, like for example the TT-micro S825 HD+ balance the product range for the German wholesale and specialised trade. Techno Trend Görler furthermore facilitates a HD+ retrofit of the two HD receivers TT-select S950 HD PVR and TT-select S850 HDTV already available on the market with the help of a software update and the respective CI module with the card of HD+.

Finally there is again an international digital receiver product range for DVB-T and ISDB-T within the exhibition performance which balances the HDTV programme of the brand TechnoTrend.
