OSAKA, Japan — Panasonic, the leading brand by which Matsushita Electric Industrial Co., Ltd. is known, will demonstrate a full HD world themed ‘Living in High Definition’ at CEATEC JAPAN 2007, one of Asia’s largest international exhibitions of imaging, information and communications equipment and technology. The exhibition will be held from October 2 to 6, 2007 at Makuhari Messe in Chiba City on the outskirts of Tokyo.

The Panasonic booth features its expanded full HD 1080p lineup of VIERA flat-panel TVs from the 37-inch LCD models to the world’s largest 103-inch plasma model. With the VIERA TV at a core of its ‘whole life connectivity’ concept, Panasonic’s full HD world integrates audio visual products including DVD and BD (Blu-ray Disc) recorders and SD Memory Card camcorders that support AVCHD format as well as LUMIX digital still cameras and even door phones connected to home network. Consumer benefits of ‘connectivity’ also include access to the ‘acTVila Video’ video-on-demand service that started September 1, 2007.

The Panasonic booth further showcases automotive technology including its Strada car navigation systems, networking technology as typified by HD-PLC adopters and network cameras and mobile technology as found in mobile phones, notebook computers and Bluetooth connectivity with AV equipment.
