TEL AVIV, Israel & NEWARK, Calif. — CopperGate Communications today announced it will be exhibiting at the TelcoTV 2007 Conference and Expo being held October 23 through October 25 at the Georgia World Congress Center in Atlanta, GA. CopperGate will be demonstrating its innovative HomePNA 3.1 based multimedia home networking solutions for IPTV distribution in the home, featuring remote management and diagnostics and guaranteed QoS operating over coaxial cables and phone wires, in booth 226.

Also, Richard Nesin, vice president of Marketing for CopperGate, will be participating on a panel in Zhone’s breakfast session on Wednesday October 24th from 7 to 8 AM in room C208-210. The session, entitled “QoE and IPTV Best Practices”, will discuss QoE as a key determinant of customer satisfaction and retention involving far more than measuring video quality and channel change performance. The panel will discuss what subscriber expectations are for QoE, the disruptive aspects of IPTV that need to be avoided, and how the service ‘bar’ can be raised.
