Netris iVision Middleware deployed by ISP in Russian Far East

Vladlink, the operator of the full range of telecommunications services for individuals and corporate clients, and Netris, the leader in software development and integration for IP communications and digital television, have now announced launching IPTV service based on Netris iVision Middleware ver. 3, designed to provide IPTV services in the broadband access network. In the commercial use the digital TV service has appeared under VladLink.TV brand.

VladLink.TV is a modern digital TV service with High Definition (HDTV) support. The company offers over 110 channels to meet different tastes. Mosaic View is a unique application to provide thumbnails of up to 15 channels simultaneously on one screen, making it easier to search and select the desired channel. The solution is integrated with HD IP STB D-Link DIB-120 to provide the most exciting experience from HD channels viewing.

Netris iVision Middleware is a carrier-class service delivery platform to enable interactive video (IPTV, VoD, nPVR, Replay TV, Pause Live TV, etc.), communication (voice, video, instant messaging, etc.), and interactive multimedia services (games, ads, etc.) for IPTV and OTT fixed and mobile networks.

“The main idea of IPTV launching for Vladlink was to offer premium class content in HD format to our subscribers”, says Sergey Krivets, CEO at Vladlink. “iVision Platform from Netris is the component that converts ideas and cost-effective technological position of the operator into its competitive advantage”.

“Vladlink is a very important project for us because of several reasons”, says Murad Efendiev, CEO at Netris. “Firstly it’s a new deployment of iVision in Far East. Secondly this launching is oriented for HD content and that is a trend to follow. Finally we implemented our Mosaic View application to create bright and unforgettable experience for users”.

In the near future Vladlink plans to expand number of services. The first new service Video on demand will be provided by Netris iStream Video Server.
