Viaccess Selected to Protect Skynindo's Premium Pay TV Services in Indonesia

PARIS — Viaccess, a France Telecom (Paris: FTE; NYSE: FTE) group company and leader in conditional access and DRM systems, announced today that its content security solutions were selected by Skynet Indonesia, Skynindo, to protect its TV offering to subscribers in the region.

Skynindo is a Pay TV Operator established to answer Indonesia’s customer demands for premium quality pay TV programming. It offers customers a variety of local and international channels, including movies, kids, music, lifestyle, entertainment, education, oriental, and sports.

Skynindo focuses on high quality programming and services, with High Definition and MPEG 4 technology, while offering affordable channel packages and the most comprehensive variety of Mandarin channels.

Viaccess will safeguard Skynindo’s TV programs with advanced technology for content security and rights management solutions, including control word protection and pairing. This enables Skynindo to deliver premium content, expand its subscriber base and increase the ARPU, while the content owners’ rights are protected.
