Entone, Inc., a leading provider of Hybrid TV and Connected Home solutions, announced today that Tri-County Telephone Association, Inc. (TCT) has selected its FusionTV™ solution to enable the delivery of hybrid TV services.

By deploying the IPTV Edition of Entone’s FusionTV solution, TCT can now offer their subscribers a unified experience that combines linear TV service, digital video recording (DVR), and web-based media services such as VUDU Movies and hundreds of popular web destinations, delivered to the TV via a seamless user interface.

TCT, a Wyoming-based triple-play service provider, offers advanced digital TV with HD and DVR support, high-speed Internet and voice-over-IP residential services along with a broad portfolio of business products to communities across Wyoming’s Big Horn Basin area.

“We are committed to providing our customers state-of-the-art services along with a level of personalized support that only a locally based service company can deliver,” said Richard Wardell, Network Manager at TCT. “By integrating the best of live HDTV and online services, Entone allows us to more effectively utilize our broadband infrastructure to deliver what has been promised in an IPTV solution and to offer differentiated services in a competitive market environment.”

Entone’s FusionTV solution offers Pay TV subscribers the best of live HDTV, DVR and cloud-based services via a single TV input, remote control, and user interface. The IPTV Edition of FusionTV is optimized for Entone’s Amulet™ IPTV DVR and Janus™ Media Hub. When combined with FusionTV, these devices provide access to a vast library of content and cloud-based services, such as video on demand (VOD) content from VUDU, Internet radio from Pandora, photo sharing from Flickr and Picasa, and social media via Facebook and Twitter.

“By seamlessly blending live TV and over-the-top (OTT) services, TCT is providing a differentiated entertainment experience that will make it more valuable to its consumer base,” said Ameer Karim, VP of Hybrid TV Solutions at Entone. “We expect a byproduct of the improved value of the service to increase subscriber growth and retention, the ultimate objectives of Entone’s partnership with our customers.”
