ViXS® Xtensiv™ 2.0 Delivers Application Software for their latest XCode™ and XConnex™SoCs

TORONTO — ViXS Systems Inc., the leader in highly innovative and advanced networked multimedia solutions, announced today the availability of its new Xtensiv 2.0 software for Set Top Box (STB), PC and Consumer Electronics (CE) manufacturers. ViXS Xtensiv 2.0 is a highly differentiating suite of software tools and applications designed to accelerate software development.

Xtensiv 2.0 adds new applications such as Android, HTTP Live Streaming and DLNA 2.0. All software available in the Xtensiv suite has been developed by ViXS. With an expanding list of software packages to support numerous XCode features, ViXS’ Xtensiv 2.0 allows customers to quickly introduce leading edge multimedia solutions to the market at competitive price points.
