ADB Delivers Three-Way Hybrid Platform To Canal Digital

GENEVA, Switzerland — Advanced Digital Broadcast (SIX: ADBN), a leading supplier of technology to the global digital television and broadband industry, announced today that it is delivering its latest ADB-5720SX hybrid Digital Video Recorder, pre-integrated with its award-winning Carbo™ user interface to Canal Digital .

Using the ADB-5720SX platform, Canal Digital is launching an enhanced consumer TV experience for its subscribers. Thanks to this solution, users will be able to quickly and easily access Canal Digital’s broad range of high definition channels and interactive applications, including Video on Demand services.

This solution offers super-fast channel change, clear and simple multi-layer menu for users to quickly reach their desired application using an intuitive carrousel of icons.
