MStar selects Tuxera file system for its set-top box chipsets

HELSINKI, FINLAND — Tuxera Inc., the leading provider of Windows and Mac compatible file systems for Android, Linux and other platforms, today announced that MStar Semiconductor, Inc., a global leader in Set-Top Box chipsets, has selected Tuxera’s interoperable file systems for its advanced System-on-a-Chip (SoC) solutions. With Tuxera’s file system solutions integrated, consumers can attach Windows-formatted portable hard drives and other storages into the next-generation Set-Top Boxes for seamless high-performance recording and playback.
