Belkin & Siano Announce Collaborative Efforts to Promote Mobile Digital TV via New Products

Leading global mobile electronics accessory provider enhances products to deliver broadcast DTV solutions “on the go”

LAS VEGAS, NV — Belkin, a world leader in consumer electronics accessories and Siano Mobile Silicon, the world’s leading supplier of mobile broadcast DTV solutions, today announced a collaborative partnership that will enable both companies to design, develop and market high-quality mobile digital TV solutions. Belkin products, powered by Siano receiver chipsets, will enable high-quality TV viewing from a host of popular mobile devices.

Through this collaborative venture, Belkin will design accessories that enable the reception of live mobile digital TV on smartphones and tablets utilizing Siano’s advanced receiver chips for mobile DTV and digital TV middleware. The first products based on this partnership will be available in 2012.
