LJUBLJANA and HELSINKI — BeeSmart, the acknowledged interactive TV solution provider for service operators and Icareus one of the leading company in the area of interactive television joined their effort to release a new generation of Facebook and Twitter applications for BeeSmart Middleware.

BeeSmart Middleware is known for its openness and flexibility. To get closer to customers’ needs, BeeSmart decided to add new applications that will bring greater overall enjoyment in rich multimedia services to end-users. BeeSmart was looking for a new development partner and found an excellent partner in company Icareus from Finland. Icareus offers a full range of products for interactive TV content and interactive TV software tools which allow their customers to concentrate more on content instead of technology. Icareus developed Facebook and Twitter applications for BeeSmart middleware, which connect people from two of the most popular social platforms in the internet.

By using these two applications the end-user enjoys in complete experience of being well connected to friends while consuming top quality TV content.
