Independent Digital Retailer Rolls Out Film Store Application for Android 4.0 Tablets, Including Motorola (NYSE: MMI) XOOM

LOS ANGELES — Film Fresh Inc. announced today the launch of its film store application in the Android market for tablets running on Android 4.0 (Ice Cream Sandwich). As the only independent digital movie service with a full selection of content, Film Fresh continues its momentum, adding tablet stores to a growing presence online and on Blu-ray players, Internet-connected televisions and set-top boxes. With a curated collection of 6,000 Hollywood, independent and international titles, the Los Angeles-based company offers a transactional model: individual movies available for rental and purchase, in both download and streaming formats.

Film Fresh’s store application is available on Google Play for all tablets running Android 4.0, and is featured in Motorola Mobility’s MotoPack, a set of applications selected to enhance experience online.

“In the last six months, Film Fresh has launched both Web and CE device initiatives. With our Android tablet store, we introduce our mobile offering, bringing consumers a fresh selection of award-winning Hollywood and independent films they can view immediately,” said Rick Bolton, Film Fresh CEO and founder. “This is the first of several mobile applications we will be rolling out in the coming months. Much of our effort at Film Fresh is focused on film discovery, and mobile devices provide an ideal platform for consumers who want to expand their viewing options. We are fulfilling our brand promise: ‘Find good films. Watch them everywhere.'”
