Cardio from SeaChange and TiVo Delivers Advanced Video-on-Demand Experience

Supports Broader TiVo Box Family and HD User Interface

ACTON, Mass. — SeaChange International, Inc. (NASDAQ: SEAC), a leading global multi-screen video software innovator, and TiVo Inc. (NASDAQ: TIVO), a leader in the advanced television entertainment market, today announced availability of their joint Cardio solution for cable television operators to deliver an advanced video-on-demand (VOD) experience to subscribers using TiVo set-tops including the latest multi-tuner DVR models. This new generation Cardio solution now supports Cisco digital cable platforms in addition to Motorola platforms.

Cardio comprises SeaChange’s interactive consumer electronics gateway software and servers that interface directly and seamlessly to TiVo’s user interface and TiVo’s set-top boxes including the Premiere, Premiere Q and Preview models. New Cardio features will enable even the largest of operators to deploy an integrated VOD experience to millions of subscribers. Working seamlessly with the SeaChange Axiom on Demand VOD back office and next generation SeaChange Adrenalin multi-screen video back office, Cardio allows subscribers with TiVo boxes to enjoy a cable operator’s complete VOD library including high definition content.
