Vestel to show Android integrated Display with Beesmart middleware at IBC2012

The first version of the Android integrated Display by VESTEL with Beesmart middleware available and to be demonstrated on IBC2012

AMSTERDAM, September 2012 — Vestel, a major player in the consumer electronics industry, and Beenius, a provider of highly advanced interactive TV middleware, will present the first version of Android integrated Display on the market at this year’s IBC2012, September 6th – 11th.

Vestel will be showcasing the first version of the Android integrated Display with Beesmart middleware on their stand 14.A20 in Hall 14 at IBC2012. This Android integrated Display with Beesmart allows modifications and adaptations of the graphical user interface according to the customers’ requirements, provided by Vestel. The new display is based on Android platform and therefore offers an environment for many popular Android applications.

Thanks to openness of Beesmart platform the integration process was rapid and efficiently done. Beesmart SDK enables operators to create their own applications according to their needs, whereas Beesmart Open API gives access to all levels of middleware and enables development of applications on top of operator’s existing platform.
