MStar Semiconductor Chooses Flingo’s Samba Interactive TV Platform for Dynamic Advertising and Social TV Within Smart TV Solution; MStar Will Make TV More Fun and Engaging by Launching the “MScreen” Application That Includes Content Recognition Technology From Flingo

SAN FRANCISCO, CA — Flingo, the world’s largest publisher of Smart TV apps, today announced that Samba, its new interactive TV platform, will be integrated into MStar Semiconductor, Inc. (“MStar”) [TSE:3697] Smart TV solution to instantly synchronize any screen — TV, tablet, phone or PC — with live TV shows. Samba automatically identifies advertisements and TV shows, and almost instantly presents the viewer with real-time information and social media discussions about the programing currently playing on TV.
