PRAGUE, Czech Republic — nangu.TV, the pioneering media platform provider for IPTV and OTT services, has announced a significant sale to Polish ISP E-CHO. Based in Choszczno in the west of the country, E-CHO has purchased nangu.TV’s Media Platform to provide an IPTV system over a managed network that allows customers to connect via their set-top box. Services available to local subscribers include linear and non-linear features like VoD. The platform was sold through nangu.TV’s Polish reseller Elmat.

nangu.TV’s Media Platform provides customers with a highly flexible white label service that eliminates the need for investment in complex back-end infrastructure and enables services to be deployed far more quickly. There’s also the added ability to tailor nangu.TV’s products to suit a wide range of customer needs. The installation at E-CHO facilitates additional revenue by allowing the ISP to resell IPTV services to other operators as a B2B model.

Antonin Král, nangu.TV’s CEO says, “We’re delighted to announce this sale to E-CHO. It’s vital that operators of any size can provide value-added services to their customers. Using the nangu.TV Media Platform ISP, cable, mobile and hospitality TV service providers have a complete solution with one point of contact. This is a unique offering in the market.”

nangu.TV has been very successful in the Slovak and Czech marketplaces: customers in these regions include: DSi, NETBOX, Telefonica O2, T-Systems, SmartComp and Slovanet. Customers and partners outside these markets include Elmat (Poland), MC Networking (Albania), Swisscom Broadcast (Switzerland) and a private entity (Emirates). It’s now expanding its reach across Europe and the US.
