MaxTV IPTV passes the 70,000 subscriber mark in Macedonia

MaxTV is a leader on the TV market!

  • In 2012, 66.541 IPTV customers were registered which is an increase of 66% compared to 2011

With its unique MaxTV service, Makedonski Telekom achieved excellent market results. Makedonski Telekom has already exceeded the number of 70,000 MaxTV customers. In only four years of presence on the market and in highly competitive conditions, MaxTV has become a leader on the TV market!

The number of MaxTV customers increases on daily basis, primarily as a result of the interactive features, picture quality, large number of TV channels and available contents. A huge growth was also marked in the past 2012 when 66,541 customers of the MaxTV service were registered, which is an increase by 66% compared to 2011 when a total of 40,129 IPTV customers were registered. Out of the total number of MaxTV customers in 2012, 11.5% are connected through optics thus enjoying the unlimited possibilities of the state-of-the-art technology.

In order to reward their loyalty, Makedonski Telekom provided benefit for all MaxTV customers, as follows: the existing customers of 3 Max, 2 Max and Family Max packages that don’t use HBO package or Max Sport + will be able to activate these packages in the period as of 15 February until 1 April and to watch them free of charge for one month. The customers, who have already activated the HBO or Max Sport + packages, will be also able to use them one month for free.

The high level of trust of the customers will be an additional motive for Makedonski Telekom in the following period to focus and to enrich and advance the MaxTV service with an increased dynamics, thus being always one step ahead of the competition. For the purpose of further improvement of the customer experience we are planning to advance the functionalities of MaxTV, to introduce new applications, to provide additional TV contents, but also to make MaxTV available from any place and through all devices: PC, laptop or mobile phone.

Additionally, in line with the interest and demands of the customers, the selection of TV channels will be additionally extended with new channels such as 24Kitchen, the English version of France 24, Hayat TV, FOX channel, as well as Travel channel HD and Auto Moto Sport HD.
