Venezuela adds 599,000 pay TV subscribers in 2012

According to preliminary statistics published by its Comisión Nacional de Telecomunicaciones (CONATEL), pay TV subscriptions in Venezuela at the end of 2012 were 3.40 million, up from 2.80 million at the end of 2011.

Household penetration reached 47.1%.
