Amino secures contract with KartinaTV to support Russian language International IPTV service

KartinaTV has signed an agreement to acquire Amino (AIM: AMO) set-top boxes for the broadcast of Russian television across its IPTV network.

KartinaTV is an IPTV/OTT pioneer – delivering TV content over the open Internet to Russian-speaking communities in Germany, USA, Israel and the UK. KartinaTV uses a variety of IPTV/OTT set-top boxes to deliver content to the TV screen.

Content packages include a wide range of popular Russian broadcast TV services as well as catch-up TV services plus films and sport programming.

Amino Communications, leaders in IPTV/OTT solutions, will provide its single stream HD STB which is a proven performer in the delivery of both IPTV and OTT services to operators worldwide. With high definition capability and OTT functionality, the Aminet device is renowned for its quality, security and robustness – with industry-leading low return rates being a key factor in reducing operating costs. It is complemented by an extensive range of set-top box middleware, browsers and conditional access and DRM options.
