Integrated System Illustrates Verimatrix Commitment to Provide Customers With Advanced Technology in Cardless Security Solutions
LAS VEGAS, NV — NAB Show 2013 — Verimatrix, the specialist in securing and enhancing revenue for multi-network, multi-screen digital TV services, today announced it is demonstrating the end-to-end integration of Cryptography Research, Inc. (CRI) CryptoFirewall™ hardware-based security core integrated with its Verimatrix Video Content Authority System (VCAS™) for IPTV cardless security solution in its booth #SU9105 at NAB Show 2013.
The CryptoFirewall is a dedicated hardware security core integrated directly into set-top box system-on-chip (SoC) devices to provide a secure hardware foundation preventing signal theft. In a multi-company collaboration, the CryptoFirewall security core technology, as demonstrated by Verimatrix, is embedded in the STMicroelectronics STiH207 family of devices with component and system integration support provided by SypherMedia International (SMI).
