ZON Multim├ędia Goes Live with ThinkAnalytics Recommendations Engine across Linear TV and Video On Demand Services

LONDON and LOS ANGELES — ThinkAnalytics™, the leader in multiplatform TV search and recommendations, today announced that Portuguese operator, ZON Multimedia, has gone live with the ThinkAnalytics Recommendations Engine. Benefiting from one of the world’s most advanced pay-TV platforms, IRIS, ZON’s high-end subscribers can now experience personalised recommendations and intelligent navigation, making it much easier to find new, compelling content.

ZON’s IRIS subscribers now have recommendations as part of the set-top box (STB) User Interface for both linear TV and VOD. Recommendations will be available on ZON ONLINE platforms at a later date.

IRIS provides high-end subscribers with access to a broad range of services including VOD, apps and DVR functionality within the operator-branded EPG. Delivering a seamless experience, ThinkAnalytics’ Recommendations Engine is integrated with the Cisco Snowflake user interface.
