Germany's HD+ adds 87,900 paying subscribers in 3Q 2013
Monday, November 4th, 2013UNTERFÖHRING — The HDTV platform HD PLUS (HD+), a wholly-owned subsidiary of SES S.A. (NYSE Paris:SESG) (LuxX:SESG), has announced subscriber figures for the third quarter of 2013.
At September 30, 2013 the company had a customer base of 1,280,783 paying households, an increase of 87,899 customers in the quarter and 519,327 compared to the third quarter of 2012. Since the beginning of the year, HD+ has expanded its customer base by 35 percent.
Overall, nearly 2.68 million households have access to the HD+ service, with 1.4 million of those still in the 12-month free trial period.
