Entropic’s powerful satellite solutions deliver a robust, high-performance end-to-end satellite system. The Company captures satellite signals and distributes high definition (HD) content into and throughout the home with its single-wire analog and digital Channel Stacking Switch (CSS™) solutions. Entropic is the global leader in both CSS and dCSS deployments and offers the first and only dCSS product deployed. At TV Connect, the Company will discuss how its dCSS solutions deliver high-performance TV viewing experiences to more tuners in the home.

CONNECT CONTENT ANYWHERE IN THE HOME

Entropic invented the MoCA® Home Networking technology, which delivers the most reliable whole-home networking backbone to power the shift from broadcast to IP video delivery. At TV Connect, Entropic will demonstrate new MoCA-based solutions for the European market and show QoS-based 4KTV streaming with our MoCA 2.0 technology.

ENABLE SECURE TV VIEWING EXPERIENCES

Entropic’s platform silicon solutions are the foundation for the Connected Home of the future. At TV Connect, Entropic will highlight its first fully-integrated set-top box (STB) system-on-a-chip (SoC) family, which integrates HEVC decoding, MoCA® 2.0 and full-band capture. The Company will also show its Open RDK (Reference Design Kit) SoC platform that leverages the OpenEmbedded core technology and the Yocto Project™ development environment allowing operators implementing RDK the ability to minimize software diversity in their STBs. Entropic will also show RDK and Android running on its HDMI IP-based set-top box (IP-STB) stick that supports broadcast quality conditional access security (CAS)

Entropic’s Noel McKenna, vice president, Sales – Europe, Middle East and India, will also participate on a panel that will look at best practices for multiscreen strategies, whole-home management of services and devices as well as how to ensure device interoperability in the home.
