América Móvil pay TV subscribers pass 20 million

MEXICO CITY — América Móvil, S.A.B. de C.V. (“América Móvil”) [BMV: AMX] [NYSE: AMX] [NASDAQ: AMOV] [LATIBEX: XAMXL], announced today its financial and operating results for the second quarter of 2014.

América Móvil had 20.3 million Pay TV subscribers at the end of June, adding 608 thousand in the quarter. Versus the year before Pay TV RGUs rose 13.7%. Most of the additional subscribers were in Brazil where the company added 500 thousand Pay TV units in the quarter.
