SENSIO 3D VOD service coming to Samsung Smart TV

SENSIO Announces Agreement to Make 3DGO!™ Available on Samsung’s Smart TV Platforms

MONTREAL, QUEBEC — SENSIO Technologies Inc. (“SENSIO”) (TSX VENTURE:SIO) today announced that it has signed an agreement with Samsung Electronics Inc., a global leader in consumer electronics, to make 3DGO!™ available on Samsung’s smart TV platforms in territories where 3DGO!™ operates. The launch is expected in the second half of 2015 in North America and will cover all Smart TVs sold since 2012 which are also 3D capable, including Samsung’s 2015 SUHD TV models.

Samsung is the fourth manufacturer to sign up for 3DGO!™ and the largest seller of 3DTVs in the world according to data provided by Display Search. With today’s announcement, the estimated North American addressable market for 3DGO!™!, including 3DTVs from all partnering manufacturers in the region, represents more than 8M 3DTVs so far according again to Display Search data.
