PeerTV announces PeerStation MX, a complete Internet-TV service providers' solution

The MX solution integrates for the first time all the necessary components to quickly launch an Internet TV service, from advanced encoding / streaming capabilities to a middleware embedded in an HD-grade STB. PeerTV’s MX solution is fully integrated with a range of 3rd-parties technologies such as Content Management, Content Security and new-generation CDNs. PeerStation MX targets service operators who need sound and economic basis for their innovative Internet video services.
PeerTV will be demonstrating its PeerStation MX STB, an embedded Internet TV receiver that supports unique streaming methods that overcome today’s obstacles and enables for the first time a smooth, TV-resolution experience over the best-effort Open Internet. PeerStation is fully integrated with PeerTV’s MX Gateway technology that simplifies surfing of complex video web sites by transforming those into a TV-optimized VoD experience. Service Operators can use tools provided by PeerTV to easily tailor the solution to their specific needs either by using web-based tools to control content offering or by programming a widget-based environment to achieve complete customization of the TV-UI.
