GENEVA, Switzerland — Advanced Digital Broadcast, a leading supplier of technology solutions to the global digital television industry, announced today that it will showcase a complete range of product solutions for telecommunications and IPTV operators at IPTV World Forum 2008, London, 12-14 March.

ADB has established a widely acknowledged reputation as a leading supplier to the IPTV Industry world-wide, supporting a number of high volume services including Fastweb, HanseNet, Telefónica, Telefónica O2 Czech Republic and Telekom Austria. In recognition of this expertise, the IPTV industry has rewarded the company with a number of awards including last year’s IPTV World Series Award. ADB’s IPTV digital video recorder (DVR) the 5810TWX has been nominated this year.

From bespoke product design for high volume markets, to off-the-shelf product solutions and ecosystems, ADB partners with numerous IPTV operators both in Europe and the Americas, supporting their visions of growing revenue streams through a migration to interactive and video services. Highlights at this year’s IPTV World Forum include:-

  • The ADB-5810TWX – a DVR designed specifically for operators wishing to offer their customers the convenience of personal video recording including a live demonstration of recent advances in new technology, with an innovative solution for home networking showing how products can share content from a variety of media and sources including DVR, PC and STB.
  • ADB will showcase its pioneering and award winning ADB-3000 series IPTV STB – the unit has already been launched with a number of hybrid IPTV operators in Europe and over 90 Independent Operating Companies (IOCs) in North America.
  • The introduction of the ADB-2500W IPTV STB designed specifically to provide operators with a cost-effective migration path to TV centric services such as Video-on-Demand whilst supporting the need for lower cost devices in a home networking scenario.
  • Ian Walker, ADB’s VP for New Business Development IPTV, will address the conference on Thursday 13 February, at 16.50 on Delivering advanced IPTV services through STB technology.
