Yahoo! to kill Smart TV product
Tuesday, February 2nd, 2016SUNNYVALE, Calif. — Yahoo! Inc. (YHOO) has announced a strategic plan to simplify the company, narrowing its focus on areas of strength to better fuel growth, drive revenue and increase efficiency in 2016 and beyond.
As part of its plan to simplify the business to improve execution, Yahoo will exit some legacy products, including Smart TV which has not met growth expectations.
