Deutsche Telekom adds 70,000 TV customers in 1Q 2016

BONN — Deutsche Telekom (Frankfurt: DTE)(NYSE:DT) has released its first quarter 2016 results report.

Germany

In total, 21.5 percent of our broadband customers are TV customers: In the first quarter of 2016 alone, we won 53 thousand new TV customers.

Europe

The number of TV customers increased slightly by 0.4 percent in the first quarter of 2016 to 3.9 million. Compared with the prior-year quarter this increase was as much as 4.8 percent. The majority of the 181 thousand net additions were customers in Greece, Romania, Hungary, and Slovakia.
