Agama Technologies selected by Deutsche Glasfaser

LINKÖPING, Sweden — Agama Technologies, the specialist in video service quality and customer experience, today announced that the FTTH network provider Deutsche Glasfaser, German leader in rolling out new fiber-to-the home, is implementing Agama’s video service assurance solution.

Deutsche Glasfaser operates Germany’s most far-reaching independent open access FTTH networks along with an IPTV platform that comprises linear TV, video-on-demand (VOD) and multiscreen services. With multi-device support, the company delivers free-to-air and pay-TV channels to subscribers’ traditional TV-sets via Deutsche Glasfaser’s Set Top Box, as well as to a TV-app for viewing on Android and IOS mobile devices. Video streams are re-purposed for a variety of VOD, time-shift and catch-up TV services. By implementing Agama’s video service assurance solution, Deutsche Glasfaser can efficiently manage service quality and the customer viewing experience.
