CAMBRIDGE, UK/VIENNA — IBC — Amino, leaders in hybrid TV and cloud solutions, and XroadMedia, a leading provider of content discovery, recommendation and targeting services, are to collaborate in delivering personalised OTT services to video and TV service providers worldwide.

XroadMedia will integrate its advanced personalisation service Ncanto with the Amino Move cloud TV platform. The joint solution will provide advanced search, recommendation and content discovery services through the Amino Move platform to video and TV operators around the globe.

XroadMedia’s Ncanto can be seen at Amino’s stand – hall 14 K.20 – at IBC 2016.

“Simple search methods and relevant recommendations at an individual level are now make or break features for users of any OTT platform,” said Michael Clegg, Amino’s Executive Vice President Cloud Services and Solutions.

“Amino Move is increasingly being deployed with content from multiple sources including live, on demand, the web and third party applications where any single content item can be discoverable through multiple routes.

Amino Move is pleased to be able to offer this leading edge capability by partnering with XroadMedia that will in turn enable content owners, broadcasters and operators to deliver a compelling capability when they deploy Amino Move as their Cloud TV platform.”

“We are excited about this partnership with Amino, a company that has very innovative and advanced solutions for the connected life of consumers. This partnership will enable service providers to maximize their revenues and profits while assisting their consumers to find and watch content they are really interested in. Together we will also be able to provide personalisation to consumers in other areas of the connected world – especially around the Internet of Things (IoT), as it is called today,” said Adolf Proidl, CEO and Co-Founder, XroadMedia.
