CleverIT targets Eastern European market with Amino’s “IoT” solution

CAMBRIDGE, UK — Systems integrator CleverIT, part of the Sweden-based Scanwinavia group, has selected Amino’s Fusion™ cloud-based home management solution to launch a new “Internet of Things” offering in Eastern Europe.

Based in Hungary, CleverIT will target small and medium-sized IPTV, cable, Internet service providers and mobile operators with Amino’s Fusion platform, an end-to-end hosted service, which enables operators to deliver a range of “smart home” offerings to consumers. Amino will also work with CleverIT in targeting major operators in the region.

Initially, CleverIT will offer ScandiCam, a re-branded version of Amino’s Fusion Home Monitor – a consumer-installable high quality Wi-Fi camera with companion operator-branded mobile and web applications. The Fusion Home Monitor also includes operator tools to manage the activation, setup and service assignment with zero upfront equipment costs.

CleverIT Managing Director Géza Füstös said: “We see growing demand for products and solutions that help operators gain a competitive edge, drive revenues and retain customers. ISPs are also looking for value added services that accelerating broadband speeds can deliver effortlessly. Home monitoring is an ideal introduction – easy for consumers to install and manage via an app – with the branded experience and back office tools that operators can quickly deploy.

“Having looked at a number of IoT solutions, we believe Fusion is the most compelling offering currently available and we look forward to working closely with Amino to drive take-up in the region. Combining the depth of the connected home with the power of cloud services, CleverIT will offer the most advanced and easy to use service for end users and operators. The ScandiCam solution complements the suite of smart, cloud-based services for operators of all sizes, which CleverIT offers to its partners.”

Amino CEO Donald McGarva added: “This is a great example of how companies can take a “white label” version of the Fusion platform and move quickly to establish a service offering. Eastern Europe is a vibrant market with a highly competitive landscape where operators are vying for market leadership.

“CleverIT’s regional and local insight will position the Fusion cloud platform as a fast-to-market solution that can add a new revenue generating service layer for many kinds of operator.”

Already working with Amino enterprise and hospitality partners in the region, CleverIT will target Sweden, Hungary, Bulgaria, Serbia, Croatia, Slovenia, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Macedonia, Romania and Poland.

Fusion Home Monitor works across DSL, Fiber, DOCSIS and cellular networks. It is now commercially available having undergone network trials.
