Airtel Digital TV adds 256,000 subscribers in 3Q 2016
Tuesday, October 25th, 2016NEW DELHI, India — Bharti Airtel Limited (“Bharti Airtel” or “the Company”) today announced its audited consolidated Ind-AS results for the second quarter ended September 30, 2016.
Digital TV Services
As on September 30, 2016, the Company had its Digital TV operations in 639 districts. DTH had 12.4 million customers at the end of the quarter, which represents an increase of 17.3%, highest in last 17 quarters, as compare to the corresponding quarter last year. Net customer additions for Digital TV during the quarter were 256 K. ARPU increased to Rs 232 as compared to Rs 224 in the corresponding quarter last year.
