Médiamétrie releases Médiamat 2016 survey of TV in France
Monday, January 2nd, 2017LEVALLOIS — Médiamétrie has released 2016 results from its Yearly Médiamat survey of the French television market.
According to the survey, out of a total of 57.974 million individuals in the country, 15.22 million receive their TV service via satellite, 29.326 million via IPTV and 5.611 million via cable.
Total with TVs : All individuals 4 years + having at least one TV set at home, regardless of how they receive their TV: via digital terrestrial TV (DTT), analogue and digital cable, satellite, ADSL TV.

Satellite reception : All individuals 4 years + living in a home with at least one TV set connected to a satellite TV service, with or without a subscription.

Cable reception : All individuals 4 years + living in a home with at least one TV set hooked up to a cable TV service, with or without a subscription.
