IBC 2017: SoftAtHome Behind the Stages for Orange Spain New 4K TV Set-Top Box

AMSTERDAM — IBC 2017 — SoftAtHome (stand 5A51), the software provider for operator CPE devices enabling convergent services for the digital home, is proud to announce powering Orange Spain new TV set-top box with advanced features to enjoy 4K experience.

The new box, that has just been released in Spain last month, enables customers to enjoy the best quality of image in 4K for premium live content, but also content-on-demand and a Videoclub catalogue with the best series and movies. Viewers in Spain can also access Netflix content in 4K quality or Wuaki selection.

Thanks to SoftAtHome SOP8 software, it also offers advanced content search and recommendation features, supports high-quality sound devices (Dolby Atmos), and enables connection to media servers in the end-user’s home network.

The box will be demonstrated during IBC in SoftAtHome booth (Hall 5 – Stand 5A51).
