Thomson Selects Vidiom's OCAP™ Software
Tuesday, May 13th, 2008BROOMFIELD, CO — Vidiom Systems, Inc., a leading provider of iTV technology solutions, today announced that Thomson, Inc. (NYSE: TMS) has chosen Vidiom’s OCAP software for their cable set-top boxes (STB).

The Vidiom OCAP middleware was created from the ground up with a flexible architecture built for the complexity of today’s digital set-top boxes and televisions. The software platform was originally created for the OCAP Development LLC (ODL) which consists of Comcast and Time Warner Cable. The Vidiom OCAP middleware uses Vidiom’s exclusive MPE porting layer making the software easily portable to a variety of hardware, platforms and chip sets.
