LOS ANGELES — Verizon Digital Media Services today announced it has teamed up with Unreel Entertainment, the leading direct-to-consumer turnkey OTT solution, to enable customers to launch branded OTT video streaming apps and online destinations. Unreel currently powers OTT consumer experiences for several high profile Verizon Digital Media Services customers, including: Bonnier Corporation, Level One, The Enthusiast Network’s Adventure Sports Network, World Poker Tour® and Zazoom Media Group.

The Verizon Digital Media Services platform comprises a global content delivery network, state-of-the-art video streaming services, and compliance and monitoring services that collectively work in tandem to help broadcasters, content owners and service providers deliver high quality OTT content at scale, regardless of location. Additionally, Verizon Digital Media Services’ Channel Schedule API can stitch VOD content together to form a 24/7 ad-supported live channel that can be used within a customer’s branded app or online destination provided by Unreel.
