Sunrise TV neo – the future of television begins today

ZURICH — Starting now, Sunrise is offering the best TV experience as an app and launching the new Sunrise TV neo app for Apple TV, iOS and Android devices, as well as PCs and laptops via a web browser. Sunrise TV neo offers live or time-delayed TV streaming, cloud storage for up to 500 hours of recordings, seven days of ComeBack TV, and a download feature for mobile devices. With the unique split-screen feature, customers can watch up to four channels at the same time on their mobile devices.

Customers usually have a mobile device with them and want to be able to retrieve TV content everywhere and at all times. The new Sunrise TV neo app works seamlessly on all screens and devices and is a perfect fit for our customers’ needs. The new Sunrise TV neo app offers more than 230 TV channels, with over 110 in HD quality. Sunrise is continuously expanding the HD channel selection. Sunrise TV neo is the only OTT TV app in Switzerland that supports UHD/4K and will include the Insight TV UHD channel, among others, upon its launch. Sunrise is continuously expanding the UHD/4K channel selection, and additional UHD channels will be added to the offer as early as this summer. Customers can use the app on up to six devices at the same time, such as their smartphones, tablets and PCs, or via Apple TV. Sunrise is also planning to make the Sunrise TV neo app available for additional devices, such as Chromecast, in the future.

TV enjoyment with Apple TV 4K

To support integration with Apple TV, the design and functionality of the Sunrise TV neo app were developed jointly with Apple. The result is a very intuitive TV app for customers to enjoy their favorite content even better.

Customers with Apple devices benefit from Single Sign-On. If they select Sunrise as their TV provider, customers only have to register once on an Apple device and their registration data will be automatically synchronized with all their Apple devices via their Apple ID. Starting in the fall, logging in will be even easier with Zero Sign-On. The network will recognize customers and log them in automatically.

Sunrise TV neo is available with two subscriptions: For only CHF 5.00/month, customers can use Sunrise TV neo for streaming to their smartphones and tablets or to a web browser on their PC or laptop. For CHF 20.00/month, customers can use Sunrise TV neo max additionally on Apple TV and on up to six devices at the same time. Both subscriptions are flexible, with no minimum contract duration.

Customers who order Sunrise TV neo max together with a Sunrise Home Internet subscription between May 10 and June 4, 2019 will receive a free Apple TV 4K (32 GB) and will be able to watch Sunrise TV neo max for 12 months at no charge.
