Airtel Digital TV adds 634,000 subscribers in 2Q 2019
Thursday, August 1st, 2019NEW DELHI, India — Bharti Airtel Limited (“Bharti Airtel” or “the Company”) today announced its audited consolidated Ind AS results for the first quarter ended June 30, 2019.
Digital TV revenue witnessed a growth of 15.7% Y-o-Y (decline of 25.5% on reported basis due to reporting changes in DTH pursuant to the new tariff order, leading to content cost becoming a pass-through expense) on an underlying basis.
The Company added 634,000 Digital TV customers in the quarter to finish the period with 16.027 million subscribers, up 4.1% on the previous quarter and 9.4% year-on-year.
