Movistar Venezuela launches DTH
Wednesday, August 20th, 2008Movistar (Madrid:TEF)(NYSE:TEF) launched its ‘movistar TV digital’ satellite TV service in Venezuela in the first week of August. The service is broadcast from the HISPASAT satellite at 61ºW.
The service offers three set-top box models – two basic versions (Echostar DSB-636VE and Technotrend S271) and a high-end ‘movistar PVR’ with a 250GB hard disk (DVR-727VE).
