Ten thousand connections for KPN MobielTV

KPN has, since its introduction in early June 2008, successfully connected ten thousand MobielTV subscribers to its DVB-H mobile TV network.
MobielTV from KPN offers ten TV channels: Nederland 1, Nederland 3, RTL4, RTL24, SBS6, Jetix/Veronica, MTV Music, Discovery Channel, Xite and Nick Toons. Besides the familiar channels, there are channels with specific mobile content. RTL24 is a news channel specially developed for the mobile phone with the best of news and current affairs programming from RTL.
As of September 15, MobielTV will be available on three handsets: the Nokia N96, the Samsung SGH-P960 and the KB620 from LG Electronics.
