Cyfrowy Dom to introduce 'pre-paid television' in Poland

On 03.10.2008, ‘Cyfrowy Dom’ a subsidiary of ITI Neovision launched “pre-paid (card access) TV” (telewizja na kartę). Introducing to the Polish market the easiest way to access television without the need to sign a contract or to pay fixed subscription fees. Pre-paid TV customers receive free access to five channels: TVN, TVN7, TVP1, TVP2, RELIGIA.TV in addition to several hundred unencrypted satellite channels.

The starter package includes three-month free access to further channels such as TVN 24, NSPORT, TVN TURBO, TVN STYLE, TVN CNBC BIZNES, TVN METEO, TVP INFO, TVP SPORT, DISNEY CHANNEL. Clients wishing to access the entire package channels have four payment (card-refilling) options: one, three, six or twelve months. The price for a monthly card range from PLN 10 per month for an annual refill and on shorter card refill periods, the monthly price is PLN 12 for six-months, PLN 14 for three-months and PLN 16 for one month. Cards may be refilled through a bank transfer, and in a later stage, at selected points of sale, and electronically. Service start-up requires phone activation or activation via website.

The satellite service is on Hot Bird at 13.0°E.
