Deutsche Telekom exceeds financial targets for 2008
Friday, February 27th, 2009Overall, Deutsche Telekom (Frankfurt: DTE)(NYSE:DT) exceeded its financial targets in the 2008 financial year.

As many as 480,000 customers have already ordered T-Home’s Entertain triple play package in Germany, meaning that Deutsche Telekom met its expectations. Internet TV is also becoming increasingly popular in Eastern Europe.
The number of Entertain lines actually activated climbed to around 353,000 by year-end.
Triple play is also becoming increasingly popular in Central and Eastern Europe. Deutsche Telekom’s subsidiaries in Croatia (T-Hrvatski Telekom), Slovakia (Slovak Telekom), Hungary (Magyar Telekom), Macedonia (Makedonski Telekom) and Montenegro (Crnogorski Telekom) had added a total of more than 220,000 customers by the end of the reporting year.
